Hi Jackie,
Congrats on your choice to become vegetarian and on your cholesterol dropping 46 points!
In order to lose weight, you need to burn 3500 calories for every pound of fat you want to burn. You should aim at losing no more than 2-3 lbs per week. (Slow and steady wins the race). When I lost weight, I was consuming about 1400 calories a day, and burning about 500 at the gym between about 45 minutes of cardio & 30 minutes of strength training, 5x a week.

I have been vegetarian for two months now and dropped my Cholestorol 46pts my A1c 1pt ( I am type 2 diabetic). But my wieght is dropping slowly only 4 lbs in two months. Just started working out at the Golds Gyms across the counrtry so what can I do to lose wieght I wiegh 200lbs need to lose 50lbs.
