Im teaching a cooking class this week covering the cuisine of the near east, so I thought you guys might enjoy this tasty treat!
Falafel:
1 cup dried chickpeas
1 cup onion, roughly chopped
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
1/2-1 teaspoon dried hot red pepper (or more if you like 'em hot)
4 toes of garlic
1/2-1 tablespoon cumin ( I like lots)
