Finally, this stupid Brett Favre story is over!! And it seems to be a solution that makes everyone happy. Brett is playing again, like he wanted to. The Packers are rid of him, like they wanted. And the New York Jets are relevant again, for the first time since Super Bowl 3.
Yay team.
Now get the hell off of my sports radio programming so we can get on to other issues like the Olympics, NBA players leaving for Europe, the meat of the Major League Baseball season, and WNBA brawls.
Sorting Out Coffee’s Contradictions
Published: August 5, 2008
When Howard D. Schultz in 1985 founded the company that would become the wildly successful Starbucks chain, no financial adviser had to tell him that coffee was America’s leading beverage and caffeine its most widely used drug. The millions of customers who flock to Starbucks to order a double espresso, latte or coffee grande attest daily to his assessment of American passions.

What to Do When Your Bank Fails
U.S.: What to do When Your Bank Closes
August 2, 2008
Friday has come and gone. In quiet style, another U.S. bank has been closed by the FDIC: First Priority Bank of Bradenton, Florida. The appearance of reality is that a number of banks will fail in the short-term without warning. What do you do when your bank is closed by the FDIC? Don't panic by storming the doors. Assuming that you follow the $100,000 account rule, Uncle Sam has you covered. The FDIC has pro… Continue

Scientists say the therapy halved the growth of aggressive tumours in mice, killing cancer cells while leaving healthy tissue unharmed.
Tackling cancer with vitamin C would also have the added advantage of bei… Continue

Milk. It does a body good. Remember that campaign? It's a giant lie, it really is. Here's why:
Cows' milk is designed by Mother Nature to grow a 55-100 lb calf into a 700-1000 lb cow. This is nutrition we as humans just can't handle. Thus there is far much more protein in cows' milk than we can utilize. This über amount of protein actually extracts calcium from our bones and causes osteoporosis. This, combined with the fact that most dairies feed their cows inadequate diets which leads to calci… Continue

I want to introduce a somewhat radical concept here that could have astounding implications for social change. The concept is leverage. I've used that term a few times already but I want to suggest some ways that we can use leverage to get the results that we want with changing the world.
There are a couple of definitions of leverage;
1. The degree to which an investor or a business is using borrowed money
2. As a VERB leverage means to gain an advantage through the use of a tool.
