* Celebrated World Vegetarian Day by doing what I normally do every day.

* Went to see the Austin Toros try-outs, both here and in Austin, and discovered an absolutely gorgeous drive in ATX off of FM2222.

* Ate at 20NINE for the first time, the event being Hiep's birthday dinner (Evie's co-worker's fiance).

* Attended the Spurs open practice at the AT&T Center.

* Visited the McNay Art Museum. Again.

* Went to First Friday, got my car towed, got it back, and saw Tiffany and the S.A.S.S. perform a couple of songs at g.i.g. on St. Mary's, all on the same night.

* Met Evie's father, brother and one of her many cousins for the first time. Saw her sister for the second time. This was all at the Spurs pre-season game against Olympiacos.

* Attended SAL (San Antonio Local) Film Festival at the Alamo Drafthouse.

* Saw a GREAT game on Monday Night Football between the Packers and the Vikings. Don't really like what Favre has been doing, but I was astounded by what he did on the field. Also, fell in man-love with Jared Allen.

* Visited Chicago Bar for the first time with folks from Chase.

* Resolved the guardianship situation with my mother.

* Saw "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" at the Overtime Theater with Evie and Kristina Smiley.

* Went to "Nightmare on Grayson" for the first time.

* Went to Pauline's (former co-worker of Evie's) Halloween party.

* Wore a Halloween costume for the first time in 6 years or so. I went to Pauline's party as an "O-Bee-GYN" since my girlfriend went as a sexy bee.

* Attended the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to when I saw my friend Sylvia get married. Also discovered a perfect getaway place called Serengetti.

* Saw the Spurs start their regular season with a dominant win over New Orleans.
