First off, this is a great idea and a great site, so any comments or crtiicizm I make should be taken with that understood up front. Also, I realize this Ning thing is a template and there are some limitations as to what you can do with the interface.

Two thougthts:
1. It would be nice if Latest Activity on my profile page showed not just my own but others - new mail from people, new comments by others in a discussion I was part of, new comments or ratings about videos, etc. I realize most if not all of this info is available somewhere on the page, but it takes several clicks on several links to check all of them. And ironically, the prominently positioned "Latest Acttivity" section only lists activity and actions that I have taken, which presumambly I already know about, since I'm the one who did them.

2. When I click on "View Profile As Others See It", it looks almost exactly the same and it is clearly not as others see it, since it says "This is you!" and since it still lists all the Latest Activity in the seconc person.

I'd love to see a selection of banners so that I can help advertise the site on my various web sites! A selection of sizes & graphics would be great.

For groups, there needs to be a better system for adding new people. It is EXTREMELY hard to keep track of who you have and have not invited if you have a long list of friends. If possible, I'd like something like what Facebook has, where it takes someone off of the list if you've already invited them. Please?

I really like this site! Thanks for making it available...but...I'm not sure if I'm just missing something, but I can't figure out how to rearrange my friends display. I don't want to be superficial or anything, but I'd like to be able to have my real-life friends listed first.

It seems like right now that the first friend listed is just the most recently added. Is there any way I can rearrange this?

That's been my question too, that I keep meaning to post!

I also wish, as a groups moderator, that I could elect to receive notification every time a new member joins one of my groups. Any chance of this on the horizon? It's otherwise very hard staying on top of new membership as my groups expand.

I've noticed there's not a specific "activism" section on the forum. However there are a few activism threads here and there in the other sections; it might be useful to have one section where activists and people interested in doing more for the vegan cause can go.

Also, is there a way of displaying links to the most recent posts from all forum threads, on one page?

the most recent posts are on the home page :)

They're also sorted that way when you open the frumnm

I'll create an activist forum. We have a few groups we created
